It was a goldmine of quintessential LA stories this week. First, there was an epic car chase that involved a convertible, a TMZ bus, and an ex-Marine. Then, Charlie Sheen allegedly threatened a porn star which was not a surprise. LA Metro waded into the anti-LGBT North Carolina boycott for some inexplicable reason. Convicted former LA County Undersheriff Paul Tanaka will be headed to jail for a long time. Another obvious LA study – poorer neighborhoods have more trash on the ground. An anti-Scientology billboard from some parents of church members. And in sports, we bid adieu to Kobe Bryant and discuss playoffs for the Clippers, LA Kings, and Anaheim Ducks.
